The Godfather: Part II

Father 2 is the sequel to the first film made in 1972, again a masterful production from the creative hands of writer Mario Puzo and director Francis Ford Coppola. The film won six Oscar awards.

Young Corleone has just arrived in America. In 1917, when he kills the leader of one of the local mafia of New York City, he becomes respectable and becomes a feared one.

Meanwhile, 50 years later, Michael Corleone testifies to the senate committee in Washington on family affairs, and the film is considered by critics as one of the few sequels found to be more successful than the previous film. Robert De Niro won the Oscar by playing Vito Corleone in the movie for only 45 minutes.
